Dr. Russell Fayers
Dr. Russell Fayers graduated from the University of Sydney medical school in 2005.
He spent eleven years working in major hospitals throughout the country, focusing on major surgical and medical sub-specialties before entering General Practice.
Russell enjoys all areas of General Practice and being able to care for patients throughout their lives and has special interests in the areas of:
- General Medicine
- Chronic Health Management
- Men’s health
- Diabetes, and COPD management,
- Adolescent health
- LGBTQI health,
- Skin cancer management.
He has special training in small procedures such as the insertion and removal of Implanon, removal of subdermal implants, excision of skin leisions and minor procedures.
Russell is committed to continuing professional education having previously completed a Post Graduate Diploma of Surgical Anatomy, HANDOC Comprehensive Hand management and recently completed training in Dermoscopy with the Australasian College of Dermatologists.
He regularly attends educational activities to keep up to date with the latest medical research and evidence.
In his spare time, Russell enjoys his time with his family, travel, and exercise.
